Who We Are

National Development Procurement Board was established by the Public Procurement Act, 2011 (Act 112) as a procurement body responsible for the effective procurement of materials for the member states.

The Authority seeks to ensure fairness, transparency and non-discrimination in public procurement in order to promote a competitive atmosphere for local and foreign suppliers. The commission is made up of 15 member countries of Togo, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Benin Republic, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and others.

Our commitment to transparency and fairness has made us a trusted procurement partner across West Africa, ensuring that goods and services of the highest quality are delivered without compromise.

The journey of NDPB from its establishment to becoming a leading procurement authority in West Africa.

2011

Establishment of the National Development Procurement Board through the Public Procurement Act, 2011 (Act 112).

2013

Expansion of operations to include all 15 member countries across West Africa, establishing regional offices.

2016

Implementation of standardized procurement guidelines across all member states to ensure consistency and fairness.

2019

Introduction of digital procurement systems to enhance transparency and efficiency in the procurement process.
